David McLaren

Director/Builder

David brings over 20+ years of experience in the building industry and is very much hands on with every project. He takes enormous pride in his workmanship and loves seeing a project come together. Quality has always been the standard he has built the McLaren name on.

Danielle McLaren

General Manager

Danielle comes with vast experience in both sales and administration within the building industry. She can be found working on all aspects of estimating, administration, accounts, marketing and everything in between. With a natural eye for design you’ll often find her consulting with clients when they need advice.

Annie Lane

Project Coordinator

Annie started with McLaren Builders as our Social Media Manager before stepping into the role of Project Coordinator as well. You’ll usually find her trying to get the inbox down to zero, keeping projects organised and clients updated every step of the way. If she’s not in the office, she’s probably on site following the team around with a camera, capturing content for social media. When she’s not at work, she’s spending time with her family, squeezing in a round of golf, or chasing after her toddler who has way too much energy.

Ben Walsh

Leading Hand Carpenter

With 20 years of experience as a carpenter, Ben has been a vital part of our team since 2021, expertly leading our carpentry team with skill and dedication. As a father of two, he brings a nurturing spirit to our work environment. Ben’s extensive knowledge ensure’s that every project is completed to the highest standard. When he’s not at work, you can find him on the golf course or playing cricket.

Josh Griffin

Leading Hand Carpenter

Starting as an apprentice in 2020, Josh has grown into a skilled and qualified carpenter who plays an important role within our team. Known for his reliability, attention to detail, and quality workmanship, he approaches every project with professionalism and care. When he’s not on site, Josh enjoys spending time surfing, travelling and taking care of his border collie.

Hayden Lloyd

Carpenter

Hayden became a qualified carpenter in May 2026 and has been an important part of the McLaren Builders team for several years. He’s known for being hardworking, reliable and always willing to lend a hand. With a great sense of humour and a genuinely kind nature, Hayden brings a positive energy to every job site and is well liked by clients, suppliers and the team. When he’s not on the tools, you’ll usually find him camping or fishing and enjoying everything the outdoors has to offer.

Jarvis Penry

2nd Year Apprentice

Jarvis is a 2nd year apprentice who is steadily developing his skills and confidence on the tools. He has a great work ethic, is always keen to learn, and brings a friendly, approachable attitude to site. Outside of work, he enjoys four wheel driving. We’re excited to see him continue growing throughout his apprenticeship.

Noah Forrest Mabilia

1st Year Apprentice

We welcomed Noah to the McLaren Builders team as an apprentice in May 2026. Noah is always ready to get stuck in and give things a go. He’s a great sport, brings a positive attitude to site each day, and is quickly finding his feet on site. We’re excited to watch Noah develop his skills, build his confidence and grow throughout his apprenticeship with us. When Noah’s not at work, you’ll find him in the gym, surfing or playing footy.
